Science Centre Singapore

Went to Science Centre the other day with Bryan! Entry's at $10. We missed the Titan's exhibition which is practically about dinosaurs cos we weren't a big fan of them (I mean if it was about pigs or pandas, I would TOTALLY go) and we had to pay additional $15 for that.

There was no time anyway. Science centre took us the whole day. We reached at 12 plus I think! Science centre closes at 6.

I've got to say I'm amazed. The Einstein after years is still climbing there. But a man has to keep fit to stay sexy. Especially Mr Einstein.

Here are some pictures I took

Do you see one face or two face?

Look closely at the pillar thing! There's actually a face formed. Cool huh

The famous dodo bird

Bryan with a tiger beside haha. Who looks so happy when you see a tiger you tell me

"We often see one side of a person, not knowing there is always a different side to him or her"
Absolutely true

Hey Mr S. R. Nathan!

Fire tornado

I think this was like some "guess the sound" thing. Like you have to match the sound made to the animals

Iron fillings. This is super duper cool. It moves according to the song played. So you can actually see these iron fillings "dancing" up to the beat like a dance crew.

fishy fishy come come

It's a puffer fish! POOF please

Hey Dory. You filming your new movie in SG?

Dory and Nemo. Meeting idols in science centre even

I actually didn't know there was an Eco garden prior to this trip. Hahaha it was not bad for a walk. Felt like those queen walking with my nu cai (Bryan) through the garden. Super got the feel one hahahaha. The only bad thing about this garden is the Mosquitos. I always kenna bitten first one, damn suay.

I know I sweet but Mosquitos you don't need to express your love for me so profusely. If you love me, don't suck my blood. I'm a sweet girl, love me the right way.

HAHAHAHA OK WTF.

I didn't really take a lot of photos of the science centre (rest assure there's way more exhibitions there than this if you want to visit) cos I really have no idea what to take hahahaha. My fav part about science centre is my Astronaut ice cream and the chicks exhibition.

After trying this, I definitely think food on earth is much better. It tastes like biscuit which melts in your mouth. So I guess it is similar to ice cream in a way that it melts. Not too bad tasting though. Pretty interesting.

These were like taken after we left the science centre cos we have no photos together taken in the science centre at all. So here's some ugly photos taken with science centre behind us. Hair fly like seaweed. (Actually no, seaweed like quite stick together one huh. Aye whatever, fly like kite)

Taken at the mrt station. I have a lot of issues with these photos too. Why? I look like a freaking round ball kek sai-ing. Look damn constipated. Hate taking photos with people with small face.

Life is so unfair. I look fat ):

This blog is like the only place I post my ugly and unglam shots. I guess because it feels like a personal diary than anything else

Anyway, it was a pretty great day out with Bryan to Science Centre! Was awed by some exhibitions even though the science behind them doesn't interest me that much (I prefer the fun than the facts). It's definitely a must-go place in SG. Quite a different experience I would say. And, of course the catch-up and laughters.

Oh, and thanks for the little piggy lucky charm! He meant to give it to me even before A levels but we didn't had the chance to meet up prior to this. But I'm sure the piggy will continue to give me luck all the way, right, piggy?

Thanks for the great day out & continue to do well in army Sergeant!

Today

I realize having structure and schedule isn't too bad. At least it makes me feel alive and doing something productive.

Woke up at 10 plus. Which is pretty much a rare thing. (even though it was because I was woken up by a phone call) Got offered 3 jobs and went for two front desk interview with employment agency today. Changed my editor's market top bought previously on the way which the staff gave me wrongly. It feels fulfilling in a way.

But this discipline is making me lose a little of myself. The jolly and a-day-by-a-day me. Because I feel like I have to be ready to get back on track anytime, can't get back to extreme laze anymore.

Anyway, countdown's party tmr at Marina Bay platform. Can't wait. The Wanted and Wang Lee Hom. What better way to end off the year?

Money faced

Sometimes it takes something awakening to pop you out of your bubble. As much as I hate to admit I'm wrong sometimes when someone else tells me that (because on top of that, I myself am aware of my mistakes which I beat myself up for and think a lot ).... Yes. I have been lazing too much, wanting too much, hoping too much. Comparing too much, fantasizing too much, dreaming too much.

Tonight, I applied for 8 jobs in a night. Checked out future educational paths. Did my chores that has been left there for months. And learnt some lessons.

Hopefully I won't live in my little bubble anymore and learn to be more sacrificial. Less self centred for the greater good, for now , for the future. Less self-believing and face up to the harsh truth that maybe I just can't and are not strong enough for what I lie to myself that I can.

Time to let go of some luxury (which although I believed an 18 year old ought to enjoy) because in reality, many might be in a worser situation than me. Some maybe even working their ass off as a breadwinner for the whole family. While all I did was compare myself with my rich peers.

Maybe my self restrictions ain't enough. The frugality that I perceived and friends acknowledged I have ain't enough. Maybe just not up there yet.

Why does money makes the world goes so fucking round? And to you who once said I'm practical for wanting more, happy struggling in future. Once you had witness family breaking up, couples quarreling, children crying aroud you, hah welcome to fucking realistic world, mate.

I want more, that's for a fact.

Ho ho ho

MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS! I hope you received lots of presents and love from your loved ones.

I kind of feel that the number of presents is like inversely proportional to a person's age... Of course not everyone, but yes it's applicable to some of us. The excitement in receiving presents and waiting for Christmas to arrive when I was younger was also stronger somehow. But anyway, spending it with people I love and enjoy being around with was sufficient to make it a better day than normal ones.

Had a BBQ at Pasir Ris Park on christmas eve with my family and my mum's friends and their families. It's kind of a tradition almost every year to get together with them. Phew were we lucky to not have rain that day! Here's me acting cute with my $2 reindeer headband from Daiso on the way there. Trying to make full use of my $2 by snapping more photos. #bimbologic

With the childhood friend, practically known her for my whole life since she's a year older than me and mummy's good friend's child haha. Who knows in future years it will be both of our job instead to plan for gatherings instead of our mummys. And maybe in late late late future to come, our child will take on the job. HAHAHAA ok think too much

With some lightstick for a fishing rod hahaha. Yo yi dian scary hor

---

And on the next day which is Christmas, met up with Huishi and Crystal! Kind of my first year spending Christmas with my friends and it was pretty nice for a start. Had lots of laughter (as usual with them) and catching up. Santa didn't drop by my house to give me a gucci bag or a new ferrari, he blessed me with two good friends instead which is more precious than anything.

HAHAHAHA wo hen sweet hor. ok too much cheesiness.

Had dinner at Lola's cafe but the queue was damn long. It's kind of shocking for me actually, I always have the perception that most people will be gathered at home for celebrations and all but there are actually a lot of people dining out. I think I too suagu liao.

Anyway, I think there was like 10 or 12 tables waiting ahead of us so we took a queue number and went to Joe's corner and bar to pass time haha. Ordered some drinks and chocolate lava cake.

After an hour plus, finally there's a table available. Reminder to self : better reserve a table in advance if dining out in festive seasons.

Coastal Seafood Marinara

Lindeman's Apple and Peach Cider

Summer Swimmer Crab Spaghetti. (in creamy tomato based sauce)

Honey and Paprika Crispy Wings. Love this!

Lemon Meringue Tart. I don't usually fancy this but Lola's Lemon Meringue Tart is quite good. The lemon cream is sour enough for my liking. I love sour stuff. I guess that's why my friends sometimes say I'm a pregnant lady zz.

Our total bill sums up to $60! I don't think there was any GST or svc charge and its pretty worth it for all the food and drinks we ordered!

After which, we went to Kovan Macs to camwhore. Cos previously at Lola's, the lighting were pretty dimmed so we didn't manage to take any pictures together haha.

I tell you the photos in collage is only like half of what we took. Dear Crystal Tan is a perfectionist at heart hahaha. She wasn't satisfied with most of the shots hahaha. This is really what you get when 3 bimbos unite. Let's just say a girl has to do what she gotta do huh?

Speaking about bimbos, it's kind of funny that Huishi has asked both me and Crystal to help her in her filming in her school project. Guess what's our role? Act as bimbos HAHAHAHA. But anyway, it sounds fun filming. Just hope I can control my laughters on that day and not sabotage her project. *Fingers crossed*

Hm it's now 1.14 am as I'm typing this now and I should have slept early. Meeting Bryan later on to go to Science Centre! Science centre baby! I've always wanted to go there for quite some time already actually, so I'm quite excited!

Told my classmates before that I wanted to go there and they always brush me off. Say "eh Crystal go science centre need us print parent consent form or not you small kid" HAHAHAAH WTS RIGHT. Ok quite funny actually hahahahaha.

Oh and yes, I was saying I should be sleeping early but I. CAN'T. FIND. ANYTHING. TO. WEAR. URGHSHXBJASJHBJABXA. Please rain some cash on me, I need lots of money to go shopping and buy more clothes. I ran out of things to wear. ): I'm like delaying the process of choosing an outfit for tmr cos I'm so lazy and sian of do that. It's tiring. So I currently haven't pick out a top, a bottom, footwear, bag to wear. And I can't find my camera charger.

Really ought to faster find a job. I need $$$. Period.

Alright good night internet world. Have a nice TGIF later on.

Going veg

Met up with Stephen this morning. Been like years since we really met up and hang out. Suppose to wake up at 10.30 to meet him but the lazy me changed it to 11.30 cos I needed more sleep hahaha. I don't even remember the last time I woke up this early to meet someone. Please feel honored buddy. I was still kind of sleepy when I met him (So I'm sorry if I sounded sian, my energy level is usually higher)

Yay thing is that he came over to drive me. It's kind of cool cos he's like the only close friend of mine that drives. I should really go learn driving soon so that I'm the cool one. Sounds like a great plan huh hahaha. A plan to be the cool one

Went to turf city cos he needed to get something from there for his girlfriend. Lunch was at Vegan Burg. Saw a few people post on instagram and I was like "what's the sudden hype about!". It's not too bad cos I'm not a fan of meat so veg is the way to go!

love the grassy & natural feel they have there. felt like a cow chewing grass

Mine was Smokey bbq with fries and he's was some seasonal special with broccoli. BROCCOLI? BROCCOLI?!? I felt like a fat ass eating fries while he ordered broccoli

And he got me a christmas present too. He shouldn't have......... (cos I didn't got him anything and now I feel bad). He got me Royce chocolate which I LOVE IT, thank you!!!!! Always wanted to try Royce. The Royce shop looks damn atas one, the first time I saw it I thought it was a jewellery shop and the chocolate looks damn atas too. I think this is by far the most atas (ok why so many atas) chocolate I received and it's really good!

I was quite impressed cos there was a cooling bag for the chocolate inside. Like so well thought out to keep the chocolate cool!

Champagne flavoured noms

The chocolate is really good! Damn rich and smooth. Like really smooth. I really hen xi huan, thanks again buddy!
