"I will come back"

HEY THERE!! How has your weekend and monday went? Great? I have been working at popular bookfest from fri-sun! Lucky everything went pretty smoothly and my colleagues are all so friendly and nice. hehe.

This is the second time I'm working, previous time was at Marks and spencers. (Oh there was a even previous one before M&S which I worked for 1 hour haha xiasuay). A pretty different experience this time round because I have to promote. And this time round I stand until my legs and sole super pain! Work's from 10-10 with only half an hour for lunch and dinner. Its under this company called Omni. Not the Omni stationery I thought, haha. I walked one whole round on the first day looking for the Omni stationery to only realise its not. Let me show you what we sell. hahaha

Puzzle toy and an electronic tablet kind of thing! Pretty unique actually.

Drawn by some kid! So cute haha

See! This two are the electronic board that I'm in charge of promoting. haha want to know more about what this is? Let me promote this like how I have repeated over hundreds of times and even dreamt of it. Ahem. "Hi this is an electronic tablet! You can just draw or write anything you want and then erase it with one button like this! It runs by battery, normal watch round battery. It's shatter proof and comes with one year warranty. You can like write your memos and your child can use it to draw and do his maths problems, spelling all these" blah blah blah blah blah blah. hahaha.

I think it's pretty cool but nowadays people have iPads and all, they dont really find a need for it. Plus its pretty pricey despite a $30 discount. Pink one's at $49.90 and the bottom one's for $62.90! there are still people who are fascinated by my promoting ahem ahem, k la the product and buy it though. hahaha. I would buy it if its cheaper. So useful!

I didn't manage to sell a lot actually, maybe 20+/30. Quite guilty because they brought in a lot thinking that it will sell well. Scarly they think it's my fault that people don't buy..... ): But I really did my best!

Yup and also this! This one is promoted by my colleague, Zi Hui. Its something like rubik's cube. Can twist and turn to form different shapes! I wanted to buy one for myself also. hahaha but I think I play few days then throw aside already, so I didn't. oh well.

These 3 days of working I really don't know how many times I heard " Ok I will come back". Walao Y U BLUFF ME! Rise my hopes and then bluff me and don't come back. But well. it really is a good excuse. I used it on others a few times before.............. hahahaha but still.....

And below are just pictures I took in the course of these 3 days!

Vegetarian Lagsana. It's very soggy actually! But the sauce is nice! Not very cheap actually. This one's like $9. Thankful that there's alternatives at the expo with subway and food court.

And this is my colleague, Zi Hui! I think she looks very cute haha. And she's friendly also. Glad that my colleague's not some grumpy aunty/step step teenager or something. haha

Last day of work.

And this little boy, George, is my fav kid that I met on the fair!! He's super duper cute la! He keep bombing me with questions haha. Pulled my hand and walk around to show me the toys. Like totally AWWWWW right. ahha but he called me aunty ): I didn't know I was so old. But in the end after I said "huh why you call me aunty, I not so old leh.. Call me jie jie" , he called me jie jie. HEHEHEHE. like forcing some kid to call me jie jie ah.... But I really not old ma! haiyo!

Last day of work, Justin came to visit me! Bought me KOI and an early xmas present. Who else can be as nice & sweet as this dear boy here! Truly blessed. Sent me home as well! Made my one long hour ride back home so much more bearable. phew.

No, I'm not vain. I'm just camwhoring a lot with my presents to embrace this precious gift and to show my appreciation. HAHAHAHHA. ok who am I kidding. This is just one small part of the reason why I camwhored so much....... ahem. Which girl don't camwhore! You tell me!

Opened the present and found this! Just got to love my present man! A tribal phone case to replace my miserable old one and the self made bracelet!!! SO MUCH LOVE OMG.

Alright. Bye to you reading this! Good night and have a great day ahead. x ;)

Fright-day soon at 12.42 am

Hi my dear earthlings! Rmb how I was pretty sian ytd about today's horseshoe crab programme?? IT WAS CANCELLED HAHAHA. I mean I wasn't like super happy about it because I was alr on the way then they cancel cos of the rain and lightning but still , I need time to be mentally prepared for it ahahahaha.

One more good news to share...... I FINALLY GOT A JOB. LIKE FREAKING YAAAAAAAAAY. hahhaah ok maybe I exaggerated my happiness but I mean like finally la. I really sent in like quite a number of resumes awhile back. maybe 6/7 around there? and no one replied so I gave up the idea of finding a job. but who knows! Today some Omni Stationery contacted me and ask me down for work tmr! So I will be working at Singapore Expo, most probably at bookfest this fri to sun!! I hope everything will go smoothly for  me this three days and I don't screw up! Please. Omg I'm having butterflies in my stomach now even thinking of it. urgh. deep breathes deep breathes.

Now, for some random photo updates....... Excited for it??? *DRUMROLLS*  haha ok why I so lame.

This chocolate is damn nice! White chocolate with a real dried strawberry inside! Noms. I never liked strawberry chocolate because I thought it tastes artificial. but this is different, with a real strawberry in it. Thanks to ah ma friend for buying it from Japan and giving it to ahma which she then gave it to us!! hehehe

And also, below are some photos I found from my old mini xperia phone memory card! I categorise the below into "I look cuter last time leh" and "I can't stand my long fringe"

Let me show you the category, "I look cuter last time leh"

Do I look better last time or now? hahaha this question like a bit buay paiseh ah haha.

And now, the "I can't stand my long fringe" . Really like cannot see eyes lor hahaha. But last time I think nice so............ I don't know what's in my brain last time also. It's that kind of hairstyle that if I see other have, I feel like walking up to the person and chop off his/her fringe kind of hairstyle LOL.

Bye, x.

Went her house and watch movie after that. Watched pitch perfect! Nice show! Haha the vomit a bit disgusting though haha. Ew......... dinner after that!

Anw I'm a bit not looking forward to tmr. ): going over to Mandai mudfield for some horse shoe crab rescue programme, part of my CCA twinning programme activity. everyone from my CCA was sent to one cca each to plan CIP proposal. And mine was with natural society . So yup! Mud and crab gosh. I'm starting to fear for tmr! Because I'm quite scared of touching crabs even though it will be meaningful work. Plus I'm the only one from my cca, seems like time to try to make new friends hai.

Pictures from today. My face again. sian alr or not? Hahaha k la bye!

Someone has to say it

(Post from Chris's list of "things to blog about" - Someone has to say it)

Someone has to say it..... someone has to say something about it.... okay let me think.... er..... someone.... me .... yes me! I have something to say!! That is........PEOPLE SHOULDN'T EAT PORK

People who know me should know that I'm not a fan of pork and I won't be the one who orders it if its on the dining table. (exception of Char Siew Rice) I mean I do eat pork but very little. Reasons why me and YOU shouldn't eat pork..... (Yes im on an attempt to persuade you not to eat pork.)

First and foremost reason : THEY ARE CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. SUPER DUPER CUTE!!

They should be kept at pets, not food. They are also my favourite animals since young, mainly because I was born in the year of pig! For me, this "no pork" thing came around when I was in primary school. It started because being young me thinks that they are my friends since I'm born in the year of pig. Yes I know pigs are not the only cute animals that we eat, there's cow and chicken also........ but the second reason.

Secondly : Pork just have some porky taste that I don't like...........

Thirdly: I don't know what happened to me these few years. But whenever I eat meat, I think of how they look like before they are slaughtered and feel.......... disgusted. And some meat just have this bloody taste or meaty taste that I call . I mean I still eat meat la, but not a meat lover, hence explains my lack of protein.

Okay I think this post just makes me not want to eat pork even more. It's your choice whether you eat or not but I really think they are cute...... Yup! Maybe I'm just more biased towards "no pork" rather than the animals but I really like pigs. Ok. Bye, ♥

Mum Mum

Went out with Mummy today to Jcube after I woke up! My first time there & Its really pretty boring except that there is a cinema(which is available in many more places) , Ice skating rink(which I can't skate for nuts) and maybe Sticky's(which isn't too much of an attraction that I will go all the way there to get). I probably wouldn't go there again since its like a 30 minutes ride from home.

Walked around and went to Itacho Sushi's for dinner! I like how the food there are always so unique and different for other Japanese restaurants. You guys should go try as well, I think there's one at Bugis and Ion Orchard. ;)

Chawamushi with Scallop

Cheese Shrimp ; Mango Lobster

Fish head! Love the sauce!! ok now I feel like eating.... hahaha

Soy Sauce Salmon! promotion - $0.40/pc. ✌

Squid Leg! $1.50/pc ignore this fail level of photography haha

I realise I'm drinking green tea almost everyday recently

Mum Mum

After dinner, went for movie with Mum! Life of PI! not too bad la. some parts really made me hold my breathe! But its quite boring at some parts.

K bye! Nua time now. Miss my bed. ;) hee

Should my town use social network

Should Singaporeans use these?

Singapore is a modern society and most of the people especially young teenagers use social media today. Regarding the topic above, I have my yes and no on this.

Social media is a powerful tool, be it for propaganda usages, to create influences etc, it is powerful. It's almost amazing how fast certain messages can spread with the tool of social media! Since its so powerful, yea, my town should use it, for all the good use it can be put to.

For example, government can use social media to spread important messages like annual health check ups, flash flood alerts , train break downs etc etc. It can also be used to spread certain awareness issues or educate Singaporeans such as messages on AIDS , safe sex .

Singaporeans should use it as well . They can use it to keep in touch with their friends, have a good chat and simply find out what is going on in each others life. In fact, I support the view that elderly who are often more lonely in their old years should participate actively in social media . This can certainly brightened up their days. If one day I'm all old and I cant go out to even take a walk in a park...... blogging, tweeting about my favourite drama. sharing my favourite oldies on facebook with my facebook friends , webcamming with my grandchildrens sounds pretty nice!

Singaporeans are also called unfriendly or said as people with no feelings in a recent news articles. (which I don't really understand why) Well. Why not use social media as a tool to solve this then? Neighbors can use social platforms like Facebook Instagram to share nice incidents or pictures with one another, give tips on say, how to manage plants well. And community centres can be the one who sets up the facebook group/page to enable these communications. With such, even a simple "like" on one's statuses can be a sign that neighbors care about what's happening in your life! Colleagues can also use these platforms to build their team cooperation etc.

Also, advertising purposes on retailing, tourism are of no harm and in fact might be a boost to Singapore's economy!

However, in some instances where social media are affecting people in a negative way and used by innocent or ignorant victims, it should be a straight NO.The wide availability of Internet connections and usage at homes, shopping centers with the complements of phones, computers today enable users as young 5 year olds to be able to use social media. And some of these sights annoys me. Maybe I'm just some grumpy old woman who finds problems in things but tell me if the following annoys you as well

I'm sure teenagers should be familiar to this group called "add as many people as you know into this group " group on Facebook. I clicked on this group and almost all the statuses and photos says "rate me" or "like my photo" with how many likes equals to how good looking you are or "the last comment gets my numbers" or the worse.... "Pm me if you want to be my stead, don't need to meet up" What I have to say is .... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU YOUNG KIDS DOING?!?!?!?!? Man !

First, you enable yourself to be a victim of negative comments. You then get hurt, get your confidence level and self esteem affected. WHAT FOR?!?!? I mean I understand most teenagers are probably at a age when they ask themselves "am I really good looking ? " etc etc. but come on, you deserve more than letting your self confidence affect you and put under the mercy of others who may tease you.

Second, self-love. what do you mean by getting a bf/gf through such platforms where you don't know each other?? Trust me, I've been through that age and one day , you will be ashamed you even did such things without really understanding what is LOVE. not lust, not good impression, not desperate, not someone to compensate your loneliness, not someone to talk to, not just some dick tom harry( sorry to people named dick tom harry) to even call darling, yes, LOVE.

Lastly, gosh those who are up there are young, some are even in primary school, they deserve their innocence. Boy I don't even know what sex really is when im in p6, I only know about my favourite doraemon at that time. Young kids shouldn't be exposed to such things beyond their age. True they should be exposed so they will have greater exposure of the world. True its experience which then make them realise what's right and what's wrong. But this can be found out bit by bit, not at a age of 12! Say 5 years 10 years down the age, you will naturally earn the lessons you require one day.

& So that day when I was scrolling through facebook, I saw this p6 girl's profile. She happened to be someone I know. Her statuses and blog that I later read , I only have the below reaction.......

 +

I'm sorry Yao ming. but yea seriously??? What I saw was things like "fuck my father. holiday yet fucking don't let me use the fucking computer" or "I miss my boyfriend. I dont know whether I should be together with him still" .WHAT YOU ARE 12 AND YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND WHICH YOU ARE NOW BOTHERED BY???? COME ON! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT'S LOVE??? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT'S THAT THAT YOU WANT???? Ok I admit my first official relationship was 14, thats not too old but at least I was in secondary sch, not taking some PSLE. why are kids nowadays getting matured at younger age? That's almost atrocious. Maybe she's more matured at a younger age, maybe she knows what she's doing, but all I have to say is you will regret some other day later, definitely.

Next, what if the users of social network are ignorant young people? Who knows one day when you share something as stupid as " Did you know toothpaste is made by elephant's tooth and grinded into powder added as ingredient? " and people believe it and share to even more people just because they think that its interesting enough?? You never know when come to such things, even more absurb news can be spread and people might believe it. If these absurb news or information are a deliberate attempt to disrupt Singapore's peace and harmony between races and religions, what would Singapore become? More vulnerable that is.

So in conclusion to all the babbles I mentioned above, I think social media can be a yes when use appropriately in the right hands. But no if under the wrong hands where improper judgement on information are handled. What's your take on this? ;)

Thursday 6 December 2012

Because I don't know what to name you

Hey! How had your day went? Great? I'm back to update! This is just going to be a random rant anw. haha

So I went down to get dinner for my mum and I at around 9pm. I only planned to get duck rice and rojak so I brought down only $10 thinking that it's more than enough, maybe even enough for me to get durian back to satisfy my random cravings. BUT the duck rice and rojak stalll was all closed and I didn't know what else to get so I went to McDonald's to get my dinner.

Me: Hi! Er can I have one Mcwings meal upsize and the drink change to Ice lemon tea?

Counter girl: Yup sure, having here or take away?

Me: Take away please. Erm how much is it already? Oh ya, $6.55... then can I have one Filet O' Fish ala carte as well? Thanks

Girl : Sure. That will be $10.60

Me: Oh hahahaha but I only brought $10 down........ Er erm I think I will cancel the upsize then

Girl : Yup okay. The total will be $10.10 then

(WTH RIGHT. 10 CENTS BEING SO IMPORTANT NOW. should I beg her to give me discount? LOL)

Me: Oh okay.... I still don't have enough... hahaha. then I think I will cancel the ice lemon tea then..

Yup, that was what happened just now! I was pretty embarrassed la, I just wanted to dig a hole and hide! The uncle beside me was still staring at me and the cashier girl chuckled a bit! Grrrrr. She must be thinking "walao no money still act one upsize and ice lemon tea, waste my time"

So I seek refuge in my phone to try to hide my embarrassment. AND. I heard the uncle asked again after he ordered finish "eh how much is the apple pie ah? Oh $1 ah, then I will have two" , then he looked at my side awhile. UNCLE YOU RUBBING SALT INTO MY WOUND HUH???

HAHAHAHA LOL OK MAYBE I EXAGGERATED THIS WHOLE SITUTATION & BOTH OF THEM DIDN'T HAVE SUCH INTENTIONS AT ALL BUT..... nonetheless I was still paiseh. luckily there wasn't any queues behind me or a lot of people buying food at that time.... phew.

ANYWAY you guys should watch this!! The first few times I watched, I couldn't stop laughing! Video's quality a bit blur though heh. Imagine you were the one in the toilet doing your business and exposed oh my god. hahahahaha.

And this! Shigga shay's "Rock my world" ! Can't stop listening to it. Baby, you rock my world. Baby baby, you rock my world ~  LOVES LOVES.

OKAY BYE BYE.

and oh! ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR TESTS/EXAMS/SUBMISSION POLY FRIENDS!! YOU CAN DO IT! PUSH ON OKKKKKK. X. GOOD LUCK

ignore my face that looks old here! get the message through ok. love you guys!! ;) bye!

JC1, JC Life

JC1, JC Life. Yup today's post about my 1 year in Serangoon Junior College. It has been an interesting one year and, now, allow me to bring you through the memory lane of this one year with me. :) I will be posting this according to aspects or areas I can remember of this one year.

SETTLING IN

I remember reporting to sch the next day after posting results was released. Was wearing HIHS half uniform with my dyed long hair. I was REALLY nervous and scared. Scared of making new friends all over again, scared that I don't know what's in for me and stuff! First day of orientation, a senior from HIHS was sitting in front of me with her uniform. So I was like "hmm maybe she retained" but end up it was a flashmob by them! So it's kinda nice cos it light up the atmosphere . Later days of orientation was okay, I slowly got used to the school environment, made my first few friends from my OG , played ice breakers and the usual camp games. Next I moved on to making friends from my CG. the routine of making friends was quite sian! I mean like you get used to someone already and you have to make new friends all over again!! We also had lectures during orientation I think which got me bit by bit settled to JC life. Settling in to a JC was like a wow for me! I mean like lecture theaters , cafe and stuff was new for me!!

MAKING FRIENDS

Like I mentioned, the routine of making friends was tiring as a start. It's tiring to have to introduce yourself, be extra friendly, be ready to break your inner barrier and try to warm up to people! But I'm glad by the end of JC 1. I have my fair of friends from OG, CG, CCA etc! And some of them are really nice and supportive, helping me through this one year, making it easier for me this one year :)

OG : Pegasus 8

Clique in JC.

1SR38

CLASS

I'm in 1SR38 this year! It's a class combination of H2 Econs, Chem, Geog and H1 Maths (with the exception of two classmate swapping one of their H2s for art)! It is a class which is considered hybrid with the mixture of arts and sciences. Well. I could say this combination is not easy because previous batches have performed pretty...... Bad? With quite a bit of retainees! But this year's class which is my class performed out of our expected performance!! And I think this is really due to the strong class spirit and competitiveness. Ok maybe not really the usual competitiveness, but I have classmates whose grades are good or are very hardworking, so you tend to get pressurized! But overall, as one class, we worked really well and everyone is just so nice and willing to help!!

APG

APG... Yes ,Attire and Personal Grooming. No surprise, I was called out from APG checks or problems since orientation due to my long and dyed hair! Then my skirt length!! But now........ I'm getting neater I hope. HAHAHAH at least my skirt's longer and my hair is black!! Hairstyle still..... Aye shh.

CCA

Before I entered SRJC, I already knew what CCA I wanted to join! Uh huh, CCC - community champion councils! Not to brag, but I actually like serving the community since secondary school! So CCC's definitely my first choice! Basically, CCA's two times a week. First session is on Wednesdays, we normally plan proposals, attend trainings eg basic Malay conversational language , talks eg on how to serve the community better , or play games(seldom though) . Fridays/Saturdays are our second session! We go for outreaches. Everyone has a choice on one outreach which they will commit for their JC span! I chose SDSC Boccia! I love it the first time I went for trial to see how it is like. Basically, Boccia is this game eligible for Paralympics played by disabled people. My job there is to assist them, like pick up the balls for them and tell them whether they are throwing it correctly etc etc. it's like their personal trainer! Other than these two sessions, we go for other events such as hospice visits to play games with them! A CCA that I find meaningful. :)

Here's a video on what boccia is roughly about if you are interested!

London 2012-Boccia

CARING TEACHERS

SRJC Teachers have been known as caring teachers! No doubt on that(for majority of them) Based on my experience, the teachers are ever willing to help you to catch up on studies. One example- Consultations. Consults during the teacher's free time or after school is a common sight in SR! The teachers sometimes stay until 7/8 pm just for consultations and I think it's really touching! I mean they wake up at like 6am to come to sch to teach and then stay till 7pm for some , sacrificing their personal time! There's not even all, after they knocked off, I'm sure they have assignments or papers to mark. Kudos to them!! Nearing exam period, their consultations are crazy! I have teachers who have consultations non stop, slots by slots! Like almost no breaks except for meal breaks. I'm really speechless on that! Kudos again! I also have teachers who put in a lot of efforts to plan lessons, making it easier to absorb or more interesting. I doubt that's even easy.

FOOD

Food is definitely a wider range as compared to secondary school. Yay to that! Other than our canteen, we have two more cafes aka Good News Cafe and Cross Roads Cafe! My favourite cafe is Good News! They have my favourite homemade ice lemon tea, earl grey, curry puff(the western kind) , fruit tarts, ham and cheese sandwiches!! Yum!! Now you see why I gained fats after entering JC!

Eg THIS!! ICE CREAM WAFFLES ONLY FOR $2!! YUMS.

LESSONS

Lessons are split into lectures and tutorials! it's the same for poly! Quite a different style as compared to secondary school. For lectures, we have 5 Lecture theatres available for lessons. During lectures for JC, almost everyone is copying notes and highlighting!! Copying is like crazy esp for geog and econs that we sometimes have to take photo of slides to catch up! Tutorials are for going through tutorials? Yeah duh. Hahaha. We also have like recaps class activity etc based on what the teacher decided or subject!

HOMEWORK

I think I'm safe to say that homework in JC is CRAZY! We have quite some load of tutorials to do! For me, I don't know, maybe it could be due to time management problems, but .... Most of the times when I finish my tutorials(that is if I manage to pull through to complete my hw), it's pass 11pm? And I'm already all sleepy, let alone revision. It's really quite a lot!

REVISION

I have come to realize revision in JC is pretty important. Exams esp for chem are more on application. For application type of questions, you got to have strong foundation to know what to do when the Q is twisted or put in another way! Either you revise or you internalize your tutorials techniques. Plain memorizing for Maths and chem esp is of no much use! I doubt you can pass with memorizing or at least get a decent grade for that matters

BREAKING BARRIERS

Throughout this one year, I think I have break numerous barriers and I'm proud to do so. Examples includes Will Run and Nike WeRun! Who knows from a girl who walks for napfa 2.4km exam during sec sch can actually complete 10km?? I remember on the day of Will Run, I was still like "there's no way I can complete 10km! The most I ran was 4km! Hai can I pon school?!??" or like "huh I only complete 3km , OMG, that's 7km to go!" . Hahahaha but step by step, with encouragements from my peers, I finished it! Academically, I did break some barriers. There are times when my eyes are going to close when doing tutorials, but I manage to stay awake to finish it! And I'm glad I did so

Will Run 2012

Nike WeRun

DETERMINATION

Determination. Ok I will just say you need a whole damn of it! (Unless you are a genius or your memory's like powerful and require little studying to get good grades). You need it to stay awake to complete your work, do revision, stay awake during lectures, stay focused during lessons, runs etc etc. it's really important.

RESULTS

I start off the year with okay grades for my tests actually! I think I passed my tests for the first round of tests except for GP. But well... I slowly lose the focus and stuff and ya started to slack more! so MYE and PROMOs was pretty bad, < 35 rank points! but with the help of re-exam, I promoted. Results for a start was pretty embarrassing when I saw that I was failing quite a lot from a jump since O's! Next year tests and exams, I hope I can at least get an S for everything!

A LEVELS

This year A levels for me was just chinese and project work which I have both completed! Chinese I can say was a slight jump from O level with different forms of compo to write and paper 2 was diff as well. Remember we use to have bao zhang bao dao in O's that all you need is memorizing and some general knowledge to pass? Now I have to write narrative which I used to fail in Secondary schools! And paper 2 for chinese was also harder with summary etc! I really hope I can get A for my chinese!! PW was also a brand new experience. There was a lot of researching typing and submissions. There was PI, EOM and also ..... wth why can't I remember now LOL. plus the group project. Not only did we let our teachers vet through our proposals times after times with rejections and changes, we also had to learn to work with our group mates for the group project as well. My ideas for the start was just plain boring and usual with no creativity la hai. A as well please?

LAPTOPS

At the start I persuaded my parents to get one for me. But if you want to save money or have no much use for it other than PW, then dont get it! for our sch, we can loan it during our project work lessons. then at home, I usually just complete it with my desktop ! But of course, do at least have a desktop or computer at home because there's e-learning , PW, and most of the revision notes , info for lessons are all on the net!

FUN

Is JC life all studying and boredom? Well of course not! I had my fair of fun and laughters also. JC students aint all nerdy or boring students! hahahaha with friends, sports day, Thanksgiving(I LOVE THIS), it was quite fun actually! Let me tell you about Thanksgiving! Its almost like some concert! It was in the school hall, lights were off and the teachers performed for us students! There were plays, popular hits like 1D's what makes you beautiful, fun's we are young etc etc. Atmosphere was good and some of the performance was quite funny!

STRESSED

This, needless to say. It's almost like O levels or even more everyday to me haha

BULLET TRAIN

One thing about JC life is its almost like a bullet train! Everything is pretty rushed since its only a 2 year course. So we really had to cram through everything and the speed is quite fast! There's almost no time to relax if you want to do well.

INDEPENDENCE

haha. I think I became more independent this year also? Maybe just a little..... But I never used to study alone and stuff, but the need for studying this year made me study alone in libraries, macdonald's, school's study, cafe etc etc. and yup its quite good that I dare to do that now!

Yup this pretty much sum up my one year in JC! There's ups and downs, highs and lows. I hope I didn't made a wrong choice since I always wanted polytechnic life. But since I'm in, I hope I will have another one good year next year and do well for A levels. :) Good night to you and sweet dreams!
